Can we get at our things?

With reasonable notice, yes. Say so before collection if you think you will want regular access and we will stack the load accordingly.

Can you deliver to a different address than you collected from?

Yes. On most of these jobs that is the entire point — the destination did not exist when the goods were collected.

Do you store for one night between a load and a delivery?

Frequently, and in a difficult chain it is the calmest option available. The vehicle is secured and the same crew continues the next morning.

No. Storage sits alongside whichever level you have chosen — we can hold a load you packed yourself just as readily as one we packed for you.

Storage on this site is a stage rather than an upsell. A great many moves have a gap in the middle, and the two ends of a chain meet cleanly far less often than anybody planning a move expects them to.

A gap between two houses is a scheduling fact. It is not a failure of planning and we do not treat it as one.

How storage works here

Collected once Loaded at the property by the crew who will deliver it later.

Listed at the door The inventory is made where the goods are, not afterwards from memory.

Why so many moves need it

Chains release in order and the hour is not yours. Tenancies end on fixed dates and start on flexible ones. New-build handovers move. Overseas purchases run late. Any one of those produces a gap; two together produce one nobody budgeted for.

Storage converts an uncontrollable date into a controllable one. You go out on the day that is certain and go in when the other day exists.

The list is the product

Storage without an inventory is a container you cannot see into. Ours is made at the property as the vehicle is loaded, and it describes contents rather than counting cartons.

"Fourteen cartons, contents of the study" tells nobody anything nine months later. That distinction is most of what you are paying for.

Part in, part out

A partial release is a normal request rather than an unusual one. Half the load goes into the new place on the day and the rest waits until there is room, or until a decision is made.

Tell us at collection that you expect to split it. It changes how the load is stacked and saves an afternoon of shifting other people's furniture to reach yours.

What cannot be held

Nothing hazardous, nothing perishable, nothing alive. Money, documents, passports and jewellery stay with you — a store is not somewhere you can call in on at short notice, and those are exactly the things people need unexpectedly.
